Retro-CI Release 2.1 – Oct 3rd 2011

This release signifies a major changes in OpenELIS that directly facilitates the final migration from using Praline to OpenELIS.

Major updates:

  • Data Export – all studies are now mapped correctly for data export.
  • Non-conformity notification report for requesters New report on the reports menu called Non-conformity Notification.  This report is intended to be sent to requesters to notify them of non-conformity.  These can either be run by selecting a specific lab number or by selection a service (which then prints all non-conformity reports that have not been previously printed for that service).
  • Results Validation algorithm for Imm-Heme – We’ve added an algorithm to calculate the totals of % for Imm-Heme results into the validation screen.  We highlight the computed value if the total is more or less than 100%.
  • Analyzers – Import of BD Fascanto has been developed, but is not currently available for users as we are waiting on the analyzer to be brought into production by the technician
  • Reports – New follow-up required report; Revised patient reports per requirements;

Bug fixes:

  • “Leaving Page” warning fix There was a bug around paging between results pages that alerted the user that they were losing data when leaving the page, when in fact they were not.  This is now fixed.
  • Notes – notes can now be added in any place and are saved as additional notes, rather than overwriting the previous note.
  • UI – Improved messaging to the user about what is happening during searches
  • Additional minor bug fixes as discovered and prioritized

This week we will be working on the following:

  • Focus will be on successful migration so we will be supporting Justin in migration from Praline to OpenELIS
  • Any bug fixes for Retro-CI – as needed
  • If time permits, searching within Validation for results similar to the Results screens
  • Synthesizing requirements and prioritizing work for release of CI LNSP OpenELIS
