Progress and Priorities – Oct 17th 2011

We continue to work on the next round of priorities for OpenELIS in Cote d’Ivoire, specifically focusing on supporting the full migration from Praline to OpenELIS in the Retro-CI laboratory.

Support of Migration at Retro-CI:

  • CD4 Numerical values missing in patient reports – We applied an emergency patch to OpenELIS to fix this problem and have released OpenELIS v2.2.1 to Justin to apply to Retro-CI. There currently is an issue in updating the Retro-CI installation and we are working with Justin to solve this as quickly as possible.
  • Backfill of CD4 Numerical values – A script for backfilling the database with missing CD4 values for the reports has been completed and is in testing.
  • Ability to delete or modify the study type after sample entry – this is a new feature requested due to users selecting the wrong study type when doing sample entry.  Due to the study type effecting multiple areas of the workflow, we will be working on a good approach to solve this problem for users.
  • Export data missing lab results – We can’t seem to replicate this problem on our end.  We are working with Justin and Dr. Kassi to determine the cause of this at Retro-CI
  • Additional minor bug fixes as discovered and prioritized

This week we will be working on the following:

  • Focus will continue to be on successful migration so we will be supporting Justin in migration from Praline to OpenELIS
  • Any bug fixes for Retro-CI – as needed
  • If time permits, searching within Validation for results similar to the Results screens
  • Synthesizing requirements and prioritizing work for release of CI LNSP OpenELIS
